SUSTAINABLE WATER GROUP

OVERVIEW

The Sustainable Water Groups’ AetherBox is being designed to create a sustainable water source using minimal energy. The Box is a way from completion and will need capital and public interest. Our teams’ challenge is build an online presence so that potential investors and interested end users will reach out for more information.
I used animation to show what the stakeholders believed were the most important feature of their product “Water, water, water!”

Length of Project: 2 weeks

My Role: UI/UX design team member

Research

With research goals in mind, we gathered contextual information about the end users the stakeholders wanted to use their website.

PROTO PERSONA

USER INTERVIEWS

In our interviews we quickly realised that Contractors do not look for new products. The home improvement industry is consumer driven. We switched Contractors with Home Owners, and then used the survey to gather more information from Homeowners and Investors

SURVEY RESULTS

Findings

– Homeowners are a better subject for an end user
– Homeowners want to make ecological improvements on their homes
– Investors like to see a good story on a website

Design and User testing

LO-FIDELITY Prototype

Findings:

– Users enjoyed the long scroll story-telling method
– Users took time to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page
– Investors wanted the “contact us” button to be more of a focus

LATEST ITERATION

FOR THE FUTURE

– Do another round of user testing
– Work with Stakeholders on name and branding
– Build out page for AetherBox pricing when product is further along in production

CUSTOM ANIMATIONS/GRAPHICS

The client wanted an animation that showed what their hypothetical product could do/look like with a clean aesthetic.
The client wanted a graphic to explain the complicated process from which water is pulled from the ground.
